We’re on a mission to repair as much as possible, but it’s not easy.
The economics of repair simply can’t compete with global capitalism and externalised environmental and social costs.
We are very fortunate to have some supporters who are able to make regular donations to sustain our repairs workshops. This really helps us sustain our work and makes us feel supported in our mission. Thank you.
We have also received funding from grants, and we will be applying for more soon. We were successful in gaining Lottery funding and this was instrumental in getting Reyt Repair from year one to year two, We were also awarded a small grant from the Freshgate Trust Foundation to fund volunteers lunches. We’re particularly proud of this support because it’s from the legacy of Harry Brearley, a Pitsmoor man and inventor of Stainless Steel!
