We’ve got an amazing and varied team – some prefer to get their heads down and fix the fault. Others enjoy working out the problem with colleagues in our relaxed and well-equipped workshop.
A co-ordinator is always on hand to support, guide and encourage. Items range from hoovers, chairs, trousers, radios, toys and lamps to a hundred year old clock.
This makes it exciting, challenging and, when customers leave with a smile on their face, very satisfying.
Volunteers are offered lunch, travel costs, endless cups of coffee and occasional cake!

We’ve got a guide for new volunteers and a volunteer agreement, together with a health and safety policy and a risk assessment. We ask all volunteers to read these and agree to follow them.
